Mt. Kaikomagatake (2,967 m), one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains, is renowned for one of the steepest profiles in the country. Family-friendly trails abound, including the Hoo Three Peaks and Mt. Hinata.
Ojiragawa Gorge offers strolls along beautiful waterfalls and crystal-clear streams. The area is famed as the source of Suntory's "Southern Alps Natural Water".
The Yamataka Jindai Cherry Tree (2,000-year-old)—Japan's oldest cherry tree and a National Natural Monument—stands right in front of the lodge.
Enjoy golf at Kaikoma Country Club with special discounts for lodge guests. The surrounding scenery is simply magnificent.
